Zakopane is known as the capital of the Polish mountains. Its stunning alpine scenery and priceless views from up high attract tourists year-round.
Our trip to the city Zakopane, lying just a short distance from Krakow, will give you a chance to see some fabulous mountain landscapes and also to get to know the rich culture of the Tatra highlanders. After a walk in the city centre during which we will visit the Wielka Krokiew ski jump, the church in Jaszczurówka, the Krzeptówki sanctuary, and the Pęksowy Brzyzek cemetery we will go up the Gubałówka Hill in a funicular railway. From where you can admire the impressive panorama of the Polish mountains. Walk through the magical and bustling Krupówki Street and enjoy a 1-hour break to taste some local specialties (own expense). Discover highlander culture and architecture in the Tatra Museum and the Museum of Zakopane Style located in Villa Koliba. See the biggest ski jumping venue in Poland – the Great Krokiew.
