Imabe: a sand beach in Hawaii island

Aloha, Hawaii! The Magic Sands Beach Park on the island of Hawaii (the largest island of the archipelago) will be adapted for people with reduced mobility. This place is called magic not only because of stunning sunset views and white sand, but also because this small beach can disappear overnight due to tides or strong surf, leaving bare rocks on the shore, but each time the sand returns.

Laaloa Bay Beach (also known as Magic Sands Beach Park, White Sands Beach Park and Disappearing Sands) is located on the Big Island in the North Kona area. It is a popular destination for fans of surfing, snorkeling and those who just splashing in the waves, so the Department of Parks and Recreation of Hawaii County plans to equip it for people with disabilities.

Among the proposed innovations: parking with places for disabled people, adapted showers, paths and ramps connecting the beach with the nearest bus stop, as well as picnic tables and grills that will be convenient for wheelchair users.
